Frequently asked questions

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There is no commitment period. You can cancel your subscription at any time, and it runs until the end of the current period.

What is included in the free trial?

You get the full Standard package for 3 months: promoted placement on curated pages, visibility in the newsletter and AI search, and a monthly report with statistics.

What does "promoted placement" mean?

Your events appear at the top of curated pages like "This Weekend" and "Concerts This Week". Always clearly labeled as "Featured" in compliance with marketing regulations.

How do you measure results?

You receive a monthly report with clicks from Gåri to your website, which events performed best, visibility on curated pages, and whether you appear in AI search results.

What happens after the trial period?

You choose whether to continue with one of our three plans, or stop. No automatic billing without your consent.

How many visitors does Gåri have?

Gåri has around 10,000 weekly visitors actively looking for things to do in Bergen. We also reach subscribers via a weekly newsletter and appear in AI search results.

Is this suitable for small organizers?

Absolutely. The Basis plan costs about 50 NOK per day, which is cheaper than most other marketing channels. Your events are already on Gåri for free. Promoted placement gives them extra visibility.

Can I promote just one event?

Yes. For 750 NOK you can promote a single event on one curated page and in the newsletter for up to 2 weeks. Perfect if you have a few big events per year.

Why Gåri and not just Facebook ads?

People on Facebook scroll passively. People on Gåri are actively looking for something to do — 73% click into at least one event, and 21% click through to the ticket page. That's a high-intent audience you can't reach with regular ads.
